Dnipro v Tottenham preview

Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood will be without a host of first-team regulars for his side's Europa League round of 32 first leg tie against Dnipro in Ukraine on Thursday.

With their campaign to finish fourth in the Barclays Premier League dependant on good league form a number of players will not be risked in the tie with Emmanuel Adebayor, Aaron Lennon, Kyle Walker, Mousa Dembele, Younes Kaboul and Hugo Lloris staying at home.

Sandro (calf), Erik Lamela and Vlad Chiriches (both back) will also be missing with Jermain Defoe (hamstring) absent.

Dnipro winger Yevhen Konoplyanka is likely to start and will line up for his first competitive match since a January move to Liverpool broke down.

The match will also see Spurs come up against former boss Juande Ramos, who guided them to League Cup glory in 2008.
