Doncaster announce double deal
Doncaster have confirmed the double signing of Middlesbrough forward Curtis Main and full-back Cedric Evina.
Main signs a three-year deal at the Keepmoat Stadium and he is part of a package which saw Boro pay Doncaster an undisclosed sum plus Main in exchange for left-back James Husband.
Manager Paul Dickov told the club's website: "He's big, strong and quick. The one thing you'll get off him is 110 per cent every game and he gives us a different option.
"There's a lot of goals in him and he's very hungry and very focused and he's the type of player we want to bring in."
Main, 22, leaves the Teessiders after three years. He has over 100 professional appearances under his belt since coming through the youth system at Darlington, moving onto Boro in 2011. He also had a six-game stint at Shrewsbury towards the end of the 2013/14 season.
Free agent Evina has signed a one-year deal with the club.
The defender from Cameroon joins on a free transfer after leaving Charlton in the summer and the club retain the option of extending the 22-year-old's stay by a further year.
Evina previously played under Rovers manager Paul Dickov at Oldham and he links up with him again for 2014/15.
He came through the famed academy at Arsenal, failing to make a first-team appearance for the Gunners, before going on to play for Oldham and Charlton.
