Dortmund v Man City preview

Manchester City will be without David Silva when they take on Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

The playmaker has not travelled to Germany for his side's final Group D match due to a hamstring injury.

The Spaniard could also be doubtful for Sunday's derby against Manchester United in the Barclays Premier League.

Midfielder Yaya Toure (suspended) is also missing along with injured left-backs Aleksandar Kolarov, who limped off against Everton last weekend, and Gael Clichy (ankle).

Right-back Micah Richards (knee) is still out and centre-back Kolo Toure is ineligible.

Already-qualified Dortmund are without Neven Subotic after the centre-back went off late on with a hip problem against Bayern Munich on Saturday.

Midfielders Sebastian Kehl and Sven Bender are also missing through injury, while Mario Gotze, Lukasz Piszczek and Jakub Blaszczykowski could be absent.

Gotze's third goal in four appearances earned a 1-1 draw in Munich, stretching Dortmund's unbeaten run to 11 games in all competitions.
