Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray is expecting a double boost ahead of Saturday's season-decider at Watford.
The Teessiders need to win at Vicarage Road and hope Cardiff lose their final fixture at Crystal Palace to snatch a play-off place.
But Mowbray should be able to call on two of his most influential performers in Rhys Williams and Marvin Emnes.
Emnes was rested against Southampton to protect his troublesom knee, while Williams played the final half-hour against Saints after recovering from an ankle injury.
"With Marvin, it's got to the point where his knee was a bit too sore to play, but with a week's rest, he should be available," Mowbray told the Northern Echo.
"There's quite a big connection between Malky (Mackay, Cardiff manager) and Watford, so they're going to be trying their very, very best.
"There are some nice little twists, but we just have to get our job done and see what happens."
