Double-header warm-up for Hull
Hull City warmed up for their forthcoming Europa League tie with two friendly matches on Monday night.
The Tigers squad was split into two for pre-season assignments away to Conference North clubs Harrogate Town and North Ferriby United.
Hull begin their European adventure on Thursday week with a trip to Eastern Europe, where they are likely to face Slovakian side AS Trencin who lead FK Vojvodina 4-0 from their second qualifying round first-leg tie.
In front of the watching Steve Bruce at Grange Lane, Shane Long scored from the penalty spot six minutes after half-time to put City ahead against North Ferriby. New signing Tom Ince won the penalty when he was brought down by United's Gregg Anderson in the area.
But defender Mark Gray equalised for the hosts with a 79th-minute header, the Billy Bly Trophy match ending 1-1.
Another of Hull's summer signings, Robert Snodgrass, played 88 minutes.
Meanwhile, at Wetherby Road, the other Hull team eased to a 5-0 victory. George Boyd and Robbie Brady were on target before the break, with Calaum Jahraldo-Martin's goal and further strikes for both Brady and Boyd extending Hull's advantage in the second half.
