FC Twente's Brazilian-born defender Douglas has been added to the Holland squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Romania.
The 24-year-old, who was handed a Dutch passport last November, is in line for his international debut this Friday when the Oranje face Andorra at Stadium Feijenoord.
Boss Louis van Gaal initially named a 20-man squad for the two matches and is already without Wesley Sneijder, Arjen Robben, Tim Krul and Jetro Willems who are all injured.
