Doyle sweet on Snap
James Doyle is excited about riding Hot Snap for the first time in public at Ascot on Saturday.
The rider gets the leg up on the Lady Cecil-trained three-year-old in his capacity as retained jockey to owner Khalid Abdullah.
The daughter of Pivotal began the season in tremendous fashion when winning the Nell Gwyn Stakes at Newmarket in April, but was then unplaced in the Qipco 1000 Guineas when sent off favourite though she ran much better to take third place behind Winsili in the Group One Nassau Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.
She put in a decent effort when runner-up in the Blandford Stakes at the Curragh on her latest start.
"She seems to be in good order. I galloped her a couple of weeks ago and she seemed to be in good form," Doyle told At The Races.
"Obviously, it will be a good race."
