Doyle wants dignified finish

Wolves striker Kevin Doyle has admitted the non-stop fight against relegation for the past three years has taken its toll on the squad.

Wolves could go down this weekend if results elsewhere go against them and they are beaten by Manchester City on Sunday.

Doyle said: "It is hard to keep going every week for three years when you are in and out of the bottom three. It is hard when you looking over your shoulder and every week feels like a 'must-win' game.

"It has been a frustrating season. A month ago maybe everyone was a bit more angry and bitter about the situation.

"Now we are trying to play out the last few games with our heads held high and keep doing the right things.

"We want to go out dignified and keep going to the end."
