Ducks advance after overtime win

The Anaheim Ducks wrapped up their NHL Western Conference first-round series against the Dallas Stars with a 5-4 overtime win in game six.

Nick Bonino scored his second goal of the game 2:47 into overtime with a wrist shot from in front of the net after an assist from Andrew Cogliano.

In the second WC play-off game on Sunday, a goal and three assists from Duncan Keith - and 35 saves from Corey Crawford - helped the Chicago Blackhawks to a 5-1 victory over the St Louis Blues at United Center.

The win boosted the Blackhawks' hopes of a successful Stanley Cup defence, putting them 3-2 up in a best-of-seven series in which they trailed 2-0 after two games.

The New York Rangers took a 3-2 series lead in their Eastern Conference match-up with Philadelphia by overcoming the Flyers 4-2.

Marc Staal, Brad Richards, Dominic Moore and Brian Boyle were the men on target, while Henrik Lundqvist made 24 saves to get the Rangers within one game of a second-round spot.
