Bradford goalkeeper Matt Duke is expected to be handed a one-game ban following his Wembley dismissal.
Duke was shown a straight red card in Sunday's 5-0 Capital One Cup final defeat to Swansea at Wembley by referee Kevin Friend for tripping Jonathan De Guzman in the 56th minute.
Duke's dismissal for denying the Swansea midfielder a clear goalscoring opportunity carries a one-game punishment instead of the usual three matches for a straight red card.
Back-up goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin replaced Duke at Wembley and is expected to start in Wednesday night's home league game with Dagenham as Bradford concentrate on their faltering League Two promotion bid.
Phil Parkinson's side have won only one of their last eight league matches and are seven points adrift of the top seven.
