Dunaden is still on target for the Caulfield Cup despite suffering a foot abscess before his departure for Australia.
Trainer Mikel Delzangles reports the setbackm that affected the six-year-old entire a couple of weeks ago, to have cleared up.
Dunaden is on course to take in the Caulfield Cup on October 20 ahead of his bid to repeat last year's success in the Emirates Melbourne Cup at Flemington on November 6.
"He has had a foot abscess but he's comfortable now and should be OK," said the French trainer.
"Unless the problem comes back, he will go for the Caulfield Cup. He is leaving on Thursday for Australia. It did hold him up in his work, but that was two weeks ago and everything is fine again now."
