Scotland Under-21 manager Billy Stark has called up Hearts forward David Smith and Livingston's Stefan Scougall to his squad.
The duo have been included for the Marbella Cup games against the United States and Canada.
Smith, who is on loan at Raith Rovers, joins Tynecastle team-mates Dale Carrick, Kevin McHattie and Jason Holt in the squad for the Spain trip.
Midfielder Scougall comes in after Celtic's Callum McGregor and Rhys McCabe of Sheffield Wednesday joined Bristol City defender Joe Bryan in withdrawing.
Scotland face USA on Friday afternoon before playing Canada on Monday evening.
