The 25-year-old forward, who also contributed six assists, played a key role in his side's third win in four NBA games and has now contributed at least 36 points in his last three appearances.

Stephen Curry registered 37 points and 11 assists for the Thunder, but his efforts were in vain.

LeBron James was unsurprisingly instrumental in ending the Miami Heat's three-game losing run.

While Chris Bosh led the way with 25 points, reigning NBA MVP James scored 21 points and eight rebounds, also contributing 10 assists, as the Heat saw off the Philadelphia 76ers 101-86.

The Los Angeles Lakers won just their second game in 10 after edging out the Boston Celtics 107-104. Rajon Rondo, playing his first competitive game in nearly 12 months after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament, missed a three-pointer that would have sent the match into overtime.

Kyle Lowry was top-scorer with 24 points as the Toronto Raptors claimed their sixth straight win at home, edging out the Minnesota Timberwolves 94-89.

The Los Angeles Clippers were grateful for Blake Griffin's 32 points and 29 from Jamal Crawford as they beat the New York Knicks 109-95.

John Wall's contribution of 23 points and 11 assists helped the Washington Wizards squeeze past the Chicago Bulls 96-93, while Shane Larkin scored a career-high 18 points as the Dallas Mavericks narrowly defeated the Phoenix Suns 110-107.

Trey Burke's star turn of 20 points and 12 assists led the Utah Jazz to a 110-89 triumph over the Detroit Pistons, the Memphis Grizzlies took their fifth successive win after edging to a 91-90 victory over the Sacramento Kings, the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Denver Nuggets 117-109 and the Orlando Magic fell to a 111-101 loss against the Charlotte Bobcats.
