Durant's big day boosts Thunder

Kevin Durant poured in 48 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder rallied to a 115-111 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Down by 13 points at one stage, the Thunder got 23 points from Durant in the fourth period alone to earn their first win in three home games.

Nikola Pekovic led the Wolves with 31 points and 11 rebounds while Kevin Love had 30 points and 14 boards.

Tiago Splitter scored 22 points despite seeing his game ended prematurely by injury as the San Antonio Spurs eased past the Los Angeles Clippers 116-92.

Splitter, who left in the fourth quarter with a shoulder problem, received support from Tim Duncan, who had 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Thaddeus Young led the Philadelphia 76ers to their fourth straight win with 30 points in their 101-99 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Evan Turner scored 23 points for the Sixers, while LaMarcus Aldridge contributed 29 points and 14 rebounds for Portland.

Paul George had 24 points and 10 rebounds in the Indiana Pacers' 99-82 wiv over the New Orleans Pelicans and Kemba Walker poured in 30 as the Charlotte Bobcats beat the Sacramento Kings 113-103.

Elsewhere there were wins for the Miami Heat, the Brooklyn Nets, the Chicago Bulls and the Phoenix Suns.
