Durant snaps Spurs streak

The San Antonio Spurs saw their winning streak brought to a halt as they were beaten 102-82 by the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Spurs had won 20 in a row before Thursday, a record for a streak spanning regular and post-season play.

But, despite coming back from an early 8-0 hole, they were undone by a second quarter which the Thunder won 32-17 as they went on to reduce their deficit in the seven-game Western Conference series to 2-1.

Kevin Durant led a balanced Thunder offence with 22 points, while Thabo Sefolosha had 19. No Spurs player could manage more than 16.

The Thunder host game four on Saturday.
