Edgardo Sol set for Ayr

Easy Aintree winner Edgardo Sol could bid for a quick follow up in the Isle of Skye Blended Whisky Scottish Champion Hurdle at Ayr on Saturday.

Paul Nicholls' five-year-old won over fences last week but has spent the best part of the season racing over timber.

The champion trainer could also run Ted Spread.

Nicky Henderson has three entries in the novices All The Aces and Tetlami, and Petit Robin, who has only had two runs since December 2010 due to injury.

Donald McCain also has two entries in Desert Cry and Red Merlin, while Alan King may run Ladbroke winner Raya Star.
