Eighth straight win for Tigers

The Cleveland Indians edged a 4-3 win over the Minnesota Twins, the Atlanta Braves suffered a 7-1 defeat to the St Louis Cardinals, the Chicago White Sox saw off neighbours the Chicago Cubs 8-3, the Tampa Bay Rays lost 4-3 to the Baltimore Orioles and the Toronto Blue Jays claimed a massive 10-0 triumph over the Philadelphia Phillies.
