Eleven Wolves sign new deals
Warrington Wolves have announced that 11 players have agreed contract extensions with the Super League club.
Ryan Atkins, Simon Grix and Ben Harrison have penned four-year deals that will keep them at the club until the end of the 2017 season, while Joel Monaghan and Glenn Riley have signed three-year extensions.
Chris Riley, Micky Higham, Paul Wood, Ryan Shaw and Danny Bridge have all agreed two-year contracts, with hooker Michael Monaghan confirming a one-year deal.
Warrington head coach Tony Smith said: "We are delighted to be retaining the stability of our squad and we are really pleased that these players are staying on to help continue to build this great club.
"The fact that we are getting stronger as a squad each year has probably been shown by the number of consecutive wins we've had recently. It has shown that we are still improving and we are striving to get better and better each year.
"We've got some terrific young players coming through and the consistency of our senior players has been fantastic as well.
"We are delighted that we will only have a small turnover of players once again; that's the way we like it at Warrington."
