England duo give Notts a final lift
England duo Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann have been made available for Nottinghamshire's Yorkshire Bank 40 final against Glamorgan.
The pair were among the senior players rested for England's NatWest Series against Australia following a punishing summer schedule that has seen them play a full role in helping the national team retain the Ashes.
However, Nottinghamshire confirmed in a statement that they will be able to call upon bowling all-rounder Broad and off-spinner Swann at Lord's on September 21.
Broad tweeted: "Delighted to be available for the YB40 Final for The Outlaws. Been training hoping that would be the case! Gonna be a special day at Lord's."
Broad and Swann's availability is a huge boost for Notts as they look for their first piece of silverware in three years.
The pair will travel to Durham next week to train alongside their team-mates, who will be taking on the LV= County Championship Division One leaders at Chester-le-Street.
