Livingston caretaker manager Gareth Evans has been given the opportunity to continue in the role "for the foreseeable future".
The Irn-Bru First Division side stretched their unbeaten run to six games last Saturday with a 2-1 win over Falkirk, days after John Hughes quit to take over at Hartlepool.
A club statement read: "Following discussions between members of the board of Livingston Football Club and director of football John Collins with regards to the vacant manager's position at the club, it has been agreed that first-team duties will be continue to be shared by current first-team staff members Gareth Evans and Richie Burke for the foreseeable future."
Livingston said that Collins felt continuity of coaching methods was crucial with the focus on promoting youth development and apprentice footballers.
They added that the "matter will be reviewed in due course if deemed required".
