Sunday afternoon's National Hunt meeting at Fakenham is now subject to a second inspection at 10am race-day morning.
Clerk of the course David Hunter had an initial look at 8am but after an overnight frost, he is hoping for some significant improvement in conditions.
He said: "We are having another inspection at 10am. We had temperatures of minus 3C overnight and the air temperature now is 1C.
"We need to see an improvement in that to give racing a chance of going ahead."
