Family affair for Carberrys
It was a day to remember for the Carberrys with the famous racing family riding winners in Ireland, France and England.
In France, Philip Carberry was on the mark with outsider Kalmann in the Prix de Beaugency at 2.00, taking the three-year-old conditions hurdle at Auteuil by two and a half lengths on the Francois Cottin-trained outsider.
Around 15 minutes later, in the 2.15 at Market Rasen, Peter Carberry on Don Cantillon's 3-1 favourite Alpine Breeze dead-heated for first place with Daryl Jacob's mount Brass Tax.
And Paul Carberry brought up the hat-trick with victory on Dylan Ross in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Beginners Chase at 3.15 at Navan for Noel Meade.
All eyes were on sister Nina Carberry to make it four in the bumper at Navan, but she had to settle for third on Eligible behind a good winner in Ted Walsh's Champagne James.
