Farah yet to confirm for SPOTY
Mo Farah has yet to confirm whether he will be attending the Sports Personality of the Year Awards.
Farah is second favourite to land the prestigious award at London's ExCel on December 16, with Tour de France winner and Olympic champion Bradley Wiggins favourite among the 12 nominees.
Gary Lineker, the event's host, used his Twitter account on Saturday to express his concern that double Olympic champion Farah would miss the evening.
But Farah, who departs for his training camp in Portland, Oregon on Thursday, said: "You'll just have to wait and find out if I'm there.
"It's very exciting to be nominated. This year we have 12 people who could win in any year. To be nominated among them is brilliant
"Other people could have been added to the list; Greg Rutherford or the Brownlee brothers. The list is so strong I'm just glad I was included on it."
Farah's next major event is the World Championships in Moscow in August next year and the 29-year-old remains motivated to achieve greater success, despite winning gold in the 5,000m and 10,000m at London 2012.
"I've got to stay hungry and motivated. I'm working hard. The Olympics won't happen every year," he said. "I want to go to the World Championships and improve. I'm still very driven.
"My life has changed a lot since the Olympics, I have three girls. I've really been enjoying it. It will never be the same again."
