Wigan will be without winger Pat Richards for Friday night's Challenge Cup fifth-round tie at Featherstone.
Richards suffered a knee injury during last week's 56-12 Super League victory at Hull and has been replaced in the squad by Anthony Gelling who is likely to partner George Carmont on the left.
Prop Lee Mossop is also back in the 19-man squad after returning in the U20's draw at Hull last weekend.
Championship highflyers Featherstone beat Castleford 23-16 in the previous round at the Big Fellas Stadium and Warriors coach Shaun Wane is keen to avoid another giant-killing.
He told the club's website: "I will make sure my team turn up, we need to be tough no matter what sort of a game they throw at us and we will be ready to deal with it.
"We will pick as strong a team as we can for this game, this weekend is an important game for us."
Former Great Britain winger Gareth Raynor will start for Rovers after Tangi Ropati was ruled out with a broken jaw.
Coach Daryl Powell said: "We've got some things in our favour - we're at home and the conditions won't suit Wigan.
"But it's about taking it in steps, breaking down the game and coming up with a good first 15 minutes and building from there."
Wigan squad: Tomkins, Charnley, Goulding, Carmont, Finch, Leuluai, Prescott, McIlorum, Mossop, Hansen, Hock, O'Loughlin, Lima, Farrell, Tuson, Lauaki, Dudson, Gelling, Hughes.
