Ferrari reveal name after vote

Ferrari's new car for the forthcoming season will be known as the F14T after emerging top of a poll which attracted a total of over 1.1m votes.

Fans had five options - F166 Turbo, F14 Scuderia, F14 Maranello and F616 the others - to choose from over the course of the nine-day online ballot.

The logo, in black and white with a thin Italian flag separating the number 4 and the letter T, will now adorn the cars to be driven by Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen this season.

Speaking to the official Ferrari website, team principal Stefano Domenicali said: "It's nice to know the name of the car has been chosen by our fans.

"The amazing number of votes shows just how popular Ferrari has always been and this will be, as always, a further impetus for us to do well this year."
