Nigel Twiston-Davies is to aim African Gold at the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle after his gutsy victory at Newbury on Saturday.
The five-year-old has now won four of his five races under Rules with his only defeat coming on his hurdling debut.
With his handicap mark on the rise, Twiston-Davies is thinking big with his youngster.
"He's a lovely horse, a real chaser in the making," said Twiston-Davies.
"I'd imagine he'll end up at Cheltenham, the Albert Bartlett would look the race for him. He did very well to win on Saturday and was very brave."
