Five Eagles set to depart

Calvin Andrew and Lee Hills are among five players released by Crystal Palace when their contracts at the club expire.

Striker Andrew was brought to the club by Neil Warnock in 2008 but scored just four goals in 68 appearances, most of which were as a substitute.

Left-back Hills has just recovered from a long-term knee injury and proved his fitness in a loan spell at Southend, but he will also not be offered a new deal.

Youngsters Nathaniel Pinney, Jake Caprice and Charlie Holness will also be leaving Selhurst Park.

But manager Dougie Freedman has offered centre-half Anthony Gardner a new contract.
