British doubles number one Colin Fleming looks set to miss the French Open following a scan on a stress fracture of his left tibia on Thursday.
The Scot could still return for Wimbledon but he will wait for further updates on his healing as the countdown to this summer's action at SW19 continues.
He tweeted: "Got scan results today. They showed good signs of healing but not yet fully healed. Looking at missing the French now, tough pill to take."
Fleming, ranked the 25th best doubles player in the world, has formed an impressive partnership with fellow Briton Ross Hutchins in recent times.
They won their first ATP title together in St Petersburg at the end of last season and triumphed in Delray Beach earlier this year.
