Thursday afternoon's National Hunt meeting at Fontwell has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
With several areas of the course already unraceable, on Tuesday clerk of the course Edward Arkell called an 8am inspection for this morning due the forecast of further rain.
While the East Sussex track enjoyed a dry night, Arkell has had no option but to draw stumps as conditions are showing no signs of improvement.
Arkell said: "We were dry overnight but unfortunately three or four areas of the track are still waterlogged and we're forecast another 10 to 12 millimetres of rain tonight.
"It's disappointing as a lot of the track is raceable and it looked in really good shape on Friday, but we've had two inches of rain since then."
