Forest hit by Reid injury
Nottingham Forest have been dealt another huge injury blow days before the crucial trip to east midlands rivals Derby with the news that Andy Reid faces three weeks out with a hamstring tear.
Reid limped out of the goalless home draw with Doncaster at the weekend after an hour on his return to the starting line-up following hernia surgery.
Scans have revealed a tear in his hamstring and the influential Irishman is set for another spell on the sidelines, beginning with Saturday's clash against Derby at the iPro Stadium.
Defenders Eric Lichaj (hernia), Kelvin Wilson (back) and Jack Hobbs (ankle), and midfielders Henri Lansbury (back) and David Vaughan (knee) have all been absent through injury in recent weeks and none are expected to return to the Forest squad in time for the most eagerly anticipated east midlands derby in years.
The Reds go into the game in sixth place in the Sky Bet Championship, six points behind third-placed Derby.
