Fritz setback for France

France centre Florian Fritz looks set to miss the bulk of the Six Nations after suffering an arm injury in a road traffic accident.

Fritz, who has made 34 appearances for France, was involved in the accident on his way to training with his club Toulouse on Thursday morning.

Toulouse manager Guy Noves said: "Florian had an accident with his motorbike and has broken an arm or had a dislocation.

"He will be unavailable for at least two months."

Fritz has enjoyed a fine season to date, playing in 13 of the 14 Top-14 games that Toulouse have played so far as well as all four of their Heineken Cup games.

The 29-year-old has been a regular starter for France since coach Philippe Saint-Andre took charge last year.

But the injury means he is set to miss at least France's first three games in the Six Nations against England, Italy and Wales in February.
