Fulham land Manolev on loan

Fulham have signed PSV Eindhoven defender Stanislav Manolev on loan until the end of the season.

Craven Cottage boss Martin Jol has been looking to bolster his defensive options and he has agreed a loan deal for the Bulgarian international with the option of a further two years.

The 29-year-old will help fill the void left by Stephen Kelly's departure to Reading earlier this month.

Manolev is the second new face at Fulham on deadline day following the signing of AC Milan midfielder Urby Emanuelson on loan.

Jol is still looking to add further to his squad before the close of the transfer window and has been linked with Bolton's David Ngog.
