Fulham v Man Utd preview

Manchester United have the chance to extend their lead to 10 points when they visit Fulham on Saturday.

Fulham boss Martin Jol will weigh up whether to continue with Hugo Rodallega alongside Dimitar Berbatov in attack after the Colombian's goalscoring return to the team on Wednesday.

Berbatov enjoyed little support as a lone forward against his former club in the FA Cup last weekend but going with two strikers would be a bold move by the Cottagers.

Elsewhere, Emmanuel Frimpong could make his first Fulham appearance, while the deadline-day loan trio of Urby Emanuelson, Eyong Enoh and Stanislav Manolev will go straight into the squad.

Sir Alex Ferguson may make changes to the team that edged past Southampton in midweek in a bid to freshen things up.

The United boss has confirmed that Rio Ferdinand will definitely play given that the Red Devils have over a week until their next fixture.

Jonny Evans has also returned to training on Friday to boost the defensive options but winger Ashley Young is still unavailable due to injury.
