Gasquet sets up Paire final
Third-seed Richard Gasquet will meet Benoit Paire in an all-French ATP Open Sud de France final after beating Jarkko Nieminen in three sets.
The world number 10 wobbled slightly in the second set but steeled himself to beat the Finnish left-hander 6-3 3-6 6-2 in Montpellier on Saturday.
Eighth seed Paire, 23, reached only his second ATP World Tour final by recovering from a set down to beat Parisian Michael Llodra 4-6 6-3 6-1.
The Avignon-born 23-year-old hit 17 aces as net-play specialist Llodra tired steadily across the second and third sets.
Gasquet won this tournament in 2006 while Paire is looking win his first World Tour final having lost to Italy's Andreas Seppi in Belgrade last year.
