GB announce EuroBasket squad
Great Britain have named their final squad for EuroBasket 2013 with six members of the London 2012 group included.
Preparations for the tournament in Slovenia ended with a dispiriting 100-46 loss to Spain last week but Britain will still be looking to put in a good performance in group A, where they are joined by Ukraine, France, Germany, Israel and Belgium.
Olympians Kieron Achara, Eric Boateng, Dan Clark, Andrew Lawrence, Drew Sullivan and Kyle Johnson are joined by Ogo Adegboye, Justin Robinson, Gareth Murray and Alasdair Fraser, as well as under-20 duo Devon van Oostrum and Mylse Hesson.
Head coach Joe Prunty is happy with the make-up of his squad, which will start their EuroBasket campaign against Israel in Ljubljana on Wednesday.
"I am very pleased with the final 12 players we have representing GB at EuroBasket 2013," he said.
"Although we have faced some tough games in our preparation, we have played some of the best teams in the world which has tested our players and prepared them well for the challenges ahead in EuroBasket."
