GB discover qualifying rivals

Great Britain have been drawn with Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iceland in qualifying for EuroBasket 2015 in Ukraine.

GB were placed in Group A, needing to top the pool to guarantee their place at the tournament, or be one of the best six runners-up.

Britain take on Iceland on August 10 and host Bosnia-Herzegovina three days later. Britain welcome Iceland on August 20, with their final match taking place on August 24.

National teams director Warwick Cann said on www.gbbasketball.com: "It is always tough to qualify for EuroBasket.

"This is our primary goal this summer and we obviously will prepare well to reach that goal. Our staff can now plan the preparation phase in detail.

"We have been through this qualifying experience before so we know the challenges involved. We look forward to bringing our squad together to continue to develop towards qualification and our longer term goals."
