GB shooting team disappointed

Great Britain remain in search of something to cheer at the ISSF World Cup in London after a disappointing day at the Olympic Test event.

The wait for success at the Royal Artillery Barracks continued after Nicolas Baxter finished 37th in the men's 50m pistol competition and Jennifer McIntosh qualified in 22nd in the women's 50m 3 Positions.

Japan's Tomoyuki Matsuda won Baxter's event after shooting 92.8 points in the medal match to finish with 664.8 points.

Russia's Vladimir Isakov took silver, with bronze going to China's Tian Zhang.

The finals of the women's 50m Rifle 3 Positions and the Trap Women final both take place on Thursday afternoon.
