Gerber test for Chisora
Dereck Chisora will take on Germany's Edmund Gerber for the vacant European heavyweight title at the Copper Box Arena on September 21.
The Briton will continue to rebuild his career after two stoppage wins since his return from suspension by the British Boxing Board of Control following his clash with David Haye in Germany last year.
'Del Boy' beat American Malik Scott in July and will go into the fight with Gerber as a heavy favourite after the title was vacated by Kubrat Pulev.
Gerber (23-1) has a padded record but it still came as a surprise when he was beaten by veteran Brit Michael Sprott on points last December.
The 25-year-old has since won an eight-rounder but Chisora is expecting to improve his record to 18-4 and get back into contention for a world title shot.
"Beating Gerber is another step closer to the Klitschko brothers and nothing is going to stop me winning the European title," he said.
"I'm fit, lean and mean and ready to do the business against Gerber, who is a good fighter but not in my class."
The fight is one of several with belts on the line as boxing returns to the Copper Box, the home of the Olympics.
Billy Joe Saunders defends his British middleweight title against John Ryder while Frankie Gavin also puts his welterweight Lonsdale Belt on the line against David Barnes.
Either Liam Walsh or Joe Murray will lose his unbeaten record as they battle it out for the former's Commonwealth super-featherweight title.
