Belfast Giants went top of the Elite League after a penalty shootout victory over Nottingham Panthers on Saturday.
The Giants claimed a 3-2 win to record their third straight success and go above Sheffield Steelers in the standings.
The Steelers suffered their third loss in a row after going down 2-1 at Cardiff Devils.
Elsewhere, Braehead Clan won 4-1 at Edinburgh Capitals and Hull Stingrays and Dundee Stars drew 1-1.
