Everton's Darron Gibson has been forced to withdraw from the Republic of Ireland squad for next week's friendly in Serbia through injury.
The 24-year-old midfielder pulled out after tearing a thigh muscle while training with his club.
His place will be taken by Norwich's Wes Hoolahan, who will join up with the squad on Sunday.
