Giles meeting with ECB

England's limited-overs coach Ashley Giles is meeting the ECB on Tuesday - with Kevin Pietersen's future expected to be high on the agenda.

Giles only returned from Australia on Monday night and will attend the meeting along with captain Alastair Cook and ECB managing director Paul Downton.

The trio will be discussing selection for the one-day and T20 series against the West Indies with the squads due to be announced on Thursday.

Giles remains the firm favourite to succeed Andy Flower as England team director with former South Africa coach by the ECB.

Kirsten led South Africa to the top of the world rankings before stepping down in July, citing family and home commitments for being unable to continue.

The 46-year-old told ESPNcricinfo: "I've not been approached about the England job and I'm not considering it at this stage.

"I suppose it is flattering that people are thinking about me. As far as I am concerned, my sentiments have not changed."

Giles, who was made England's limited-overs coach in 2012, has stated he is interested in the role of team director - despite having seen his team lose the one-day and Twenty20 series in Australia.
