Gillingham v Yeovil preview
Team news for Saturday's League One clash between Gillingham and Yeovil Town at Priestfield Stadium.
Gillingham will again have Glenn Morris deputising for injured goalkeeper Stuart Nelson when Yeovil visit Priestfield Stadium in League One on Saturday - just four days after beating the same team 2-1 away in the Capital One Cup.
The Gills have yet to discover how long the shot-stopper or Cody McDonald will be out after opening-day injuries but Peter Taylor admits being drawn at home to Newcastle in round two of the knockout competition has given everyone at the club a huge lift.
"To get the draw was fantastic - it's lovely for our supporters to see a Premier League team as big as Newcastle United and I'm absolutely delighted for everybody," Taylor told the club's official website.
"We were pleased with the win at Yeovil but that's what makes it even better with all the boys talking about Newcastle - we have a big game on Saturday but it just gives you that extra buzz and we will really look forward to it."
Yeovil will be without suspended defender Seth Nana Twumasi when they make the trip.
The 24-year-old was handed a straight red card in the second half of Tuesday's meeting between the sides and, barring an appeal from the Glovers, he will now serve a three-match ban.
But there is better news surrounding the fitness of Kevin Dawson as Gary Johnson's men search for their first win of the season.
The Irish midfielder is set to return to training in the build up to kick-off after an ankle injury and should return to contention but winger Joel Grant (ligament damage) remains two weeks away from a first-team return while Liam Davis is also sidelined with a broken wrist.
