Gomes set for Hoffenheim loan
Heurelho Gomes is on the brink of leaving Tottenham to join Hoffenheim on loan, according to reports.
The Brazil international goalkeeper is yet to feature for Spurs this season but has been offered an escape route by the Bundesliga club.
The 31-year-old's agent, Alex Suarez, has revealed that a temporary deal has been agreed between the clubs and the player is flying to Germany to finalise the move.
Gomes joined Tottenham from Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2008 and after a shaky start to his career at White Hart Lane went on to make over 100 appearances for the club.
But the signings of Brad Friedel and Hugo Lloris have seen him fall down the pecking order and the keeper will be expecting more first-team action at the Rhein-Neckar Arena.
