Good news at Ayr
This afternoon's jumps fixture at Ayr goes ahead following a successful early-morning inspection.
Course officials could even afford the luxury of moving forward their intended 7.30am check by around an hour after just three millimetres of rain fell overnight.
A dry day on Wednesday also helped to soothe the situation.
Although the Scottish circuit could sustain a further 10mm of rain this morning, the forecast looks particularly favourable heading into the afternoon.
The going is soft, heavy in places, with racing due to begin at 2.20pm.
