Lyon midfielder Yoann Gourcuff has returned to training ahead of schedule following a knee injury.
Gourcuff has been absent since August 18 after suffering the injury in the 4-1 win over Troyes, and coach Remi Garde indicated yesterday that he would not be back on the training pitch until Monday.
But the 26-year-old, who has won 29 caps for France, joined team-mates Lisandro Lopez, Jimmy Briand, Steed Malbranque, Mouhamadou Dabo and Anthony Reveillere in a series of specific drills.
However, the playmaker is not expected to return to first-team action until next month.
