Goves rues costly mistakes

Bournemouth manager Paul Groves kept his players behind in the dressing room after the 4-0 defeat at Swindon on Saturday.

Town winger Matt Ritchie showed why Bournemouth once bid £2million for him with two goals while the others came from Andy Williams and Adam Rooney.

Groves said: "If you make bad mistakes in basic areas you get punished, as we were.

"You learn one or two things about players when the heat is on, as it was here, and that was not nice. We did not handle the intensity and were not brave enough."
