Graham secures Boro return

Middlesbrough have re-signed striker Danny Graham, who has moved to the Riverside Stadium on loan from Sunderland.

The 28-year-old joined Hull City on loan in the summer but he has failed to make the expected impact.

The Tigers bolstered their attacking options in January, bringing in Nikica Jelavic and Shane Long, meaning Graham was surplus to requirements.

Nottingham Forest had shown an interest in the player, but Boro have won the race to take him back to the club where he began his career.

Graham played 15 games for Boro before joining Carlisle in 2007, after which he impressed with Watford and Swansea before his move to Sunderland in 2013.
