Gray will be 'very aggressive'
Sheffield Wednesday manager Stuart Gray has said that he will be "very aggressive" in the transfer market once Hafiz Mammadov's takeover of the club is officially complete.
The Azerbaijani businessman took over the Championship outfit a fortnight ago, but it has yet to be ratified by the Football League.
The Owls have been monitoring players they want to sign for next season, and Gray admits that he will have to wait to make his move until Mammadov's takeover is complete.
"We have deals on hold because of the takeover situation," The Star quotes the 54-year-old as saying. "Hopefully we can drive them through when we get the green light.
"We are patiently waiting for the paperwork to be sorted out. We have been in limbo but we have things lined and teed up. We can be very aggressive once we get clearance."
