Green light for Baily bid

Baily Green is on course to bid for an eighth straight win in the AGK Displays Novice Chase at Punchestown on Sunday.

Trainer Mouse Morris reports the six-year-old to be in such good form that he is keen to run him in the Grade Two contest over two miles, for which there were only seven entries.

It will be a step up in class for Baily Green, who began his winning spree in May and has taken all before him including a hat-trick of three Grade Three successes on his latest starts.

"There were only seven entries, so there will only be a few runners," said the County Tipperary handler.

"He's in great form and that's the only reason I'm contemplating running him. He's ready to go at the minute."
