Gregory eyeing Bees boost

Crawley boss John Gregory feels a win at leaders Brentford on Saturday could kick-start a charge up the table.

The Red Devils are currently down in 16th spot, 15 points adrift of the play-offs and only four above the drop zone.

But a spate of postponements means they have four games in hand on many of the teams above them and Gregory insists he is looking up the table rather than down.

"We have the ability in our squad to go on a good run and once you pick momentum up, and that can quickly happen when you are playing three times a week, you can shoot up the league table," said Gregory.

"We are still looking up the table rather than what's below us and the first challenge we face is arguably the hardest of the season at the leaders Brentford on Saturday.

"I saw them beat Bristol City last week and their home record is excellent. But we don't fear anyone and I'm sure on Saturday we will have a good travelling support backing us."
